Appletime
Fall makes me feel all apple-y. I’ve been seeing a lot of Fuji apple drinks on the fall cocktail menus in town. The Molly Pitcher ($10) at my neighborhood cocktail mecca, Dram, is a refreshing early-autumn drink structured around Applejack, fresh Fuji apple, lemon, cinnamon and Peychaud’s bitters. The citrus brightens and lightens this brandy-based concoction. The Molly Pitcher is helping me ease into the brown spirits and toffee flavors of the colder weather.
